Breast Cancer Awareness Month isn’t just about pink ribbons and fundraising walks. Breast Cancer is a serious health risk for women and is one of the leading causes of cancer deaths in women behind lung cancer. It is estimated that 1 in 8 U.S. women will be affected by breast cancer during her lifetime. Almost everyone knows someone that has been affected by this disease. 

In many cases, we think that breast cancer can be a one-size-fits-all type of thing and that is never true. Each person’s journey is unique to them. We want to honor those who have fought breast cancer and those who are still fighting. We want to honor those who are on this journey and who have finished their journey with breast cancer.
