In December we celebrated our 1 year anniversary and in February we will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary of our website launch! It has been a stellar year and we couldn’t be happier. We recently sat down with our incredible owner, Leanna, to chat about Demon Bikini and this past year!

Let’s take a look at what life has been like after a year of building Demon Bikini. 

Question: What has been your favorite memory of Demon Bikini this last year?

This year has been quite the ride! I was originally hoping that I could make a slow start and gain some traction, but the response to Demon Bikini was overwhelmingly positive and my expectations were blown out of the water! My favorite memory of this year was being able to work and support different charities through Demon Bikini! 

We had such a great time at these events, but the one closest to my heart was the charity show to raise money for a little boy who tragically lost his battle shortly after the event. I loved being able to help this family during this time when I wouldn’t have been able to without Demon Bikini.

Question: When you look back at Demon Bikinis’ first year what comes to mind?

This year has been a whirlwind! I never thought that we would sell as many bikinis as we did our first year! We got to be a part of so many different events and charity events that I am so incredibly grateful for. 

When I set out to start Demon Bikini, I wanted to build a business where women could feel empowered and sexy in their bodies and I could give back to the community that I love. During our first year I’ve met so many amazing people and have been able to be a part of some incredible boating events and I could not have imagined that our first year would be able to take off the way it did!

Question: Did your first year go the way you planned or expected?

No, not at all! I had planned to be a part of a few events and sell a few bikinis while I got Demon Bikini out there. I never imagined that things would take off the way they did. There was so much demand for our bikinis that we had a waitlist at times. Our community and customers were so amazing during this and have been incredible!

Question: What have you learned from this year?

I always knew that women empowerment would be a cornerstone to Demon Bikini and was always at the forefront of my mind when creating this amazing business. What I didn’t expect was how crucial this would end up being! 

I learned so many great things about running a business and that building strong relationships with customers would be key to our success. My biggest takeaway has been how amazing it is to help women feel comfortable and empowered in their own skin!

Question: What are your upcoming plans?

2022 is going to be an amazing year for Demon Bikini! We have more seamstresses so we can get your bikinis out to you faster! We have new styles, designs, and fun things in store for this year! We will be launching new styles early in 2022 so stay tuned! 

We’ve teamed up with some amazing women and can’t wait to show our new styles and our new models!
